Privacy Policy

Updated October 11, 2026. This notice explains how Crochet Sprig handles information when you visit crochetsprig.com, use our browser row counter, or send us a message. For a privacy question or request, use our Contact page.

Messages you send us

The contact form asks for an email address and a message; your name is optional. We use this information to review your request, respond when needed, and handle corrections or permission questions. Submissions are stored privately in our WordPress administration area. The form may also record technical submission information, such as an IP address, to help manage abuse.

The form is configured to remove submissions after 90 days through scheduled cleanup. Copies in hosting backups may remain until those backups expire. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information. There is no newsletter signup or marketing subscription attached to the contact form.

Website operation and security

Hostinger provides website hosting, caching, and security services. Requests to the website can generate technical logs containing information such as IP addresses, browser details, request URLs, and access times. These services help deliver pages, detect abuse, and troubleshoot errors. Authorized administrators use WordPress login cookies to manage the site.

Optional Analytics

If you allow Analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the website. Analytics can process browser identifiers, pages viewed, interactions, device information, and approximate location. We do not intentionally send your contact-form message or email address to Analytics. You can reject optional cookies, customize your choice, or change it using the floating Consent Preferences button. See our Cookie Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.

The website currently does not display ads or use advertising pixels. We do not sell contact-form information or share it for targeted advertising. This notice will need to be updated if advertising, newsletter services, or other data collection is introduced.

Your row counter

The browser counter saves your project name, row count, and goal in local storage on your device. We do not receive this project data through the counter. It remains in that browser until its site data is cleared; private browsing or clearing browser data can erase it. The counter does not sync between devices.

Services, links, and your choices

Our hosting and Analytics providers may process information in countries other than yours. External links open websites with their own privacy practices. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of information about you. Contact us with enough information to locate your message; we may need to verify a request before acting on it.

Crochet Sprig is a general-audience crochet website. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information, please contact us. We will update the date above when this notice changes.
